Senior Backend Engineer

Description: Senior backend engineer needed for a late-stage, venture-backed enterprise AI company. Focus on designing and scaling backend services for AI agents that require low latency and high reliability. Requirements: 5+ years of backend engineering experience. Proficiency in gRPC and REST API design. Experience with SQL and NoSQL schema and query tuning. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Background in building AI or virtual agent systems. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Nice to have: experience with queues, distributed orchestration, and Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django). Benefits: Competitive salary range of $205,000–$270,000 plus equity.
