Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Description: Remote position for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at a late-stage, venture-backed enterprise AI company. Responsible for setting the technical direction for agent systems, focusing on model and systems work for large enterprise customers. Requirements: 7+ years of experience shipping ML in production, including large language models (LLMs) at scale. Proven experience in designing complex, multi-step LLM systems. Strong knowledge of transformers, embeddings, and retrieval. Experience with evaluation methods beyond single prompts. Proficiency in PyTorch or similar frameworks on distributed cloud infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's or PhD is a plus.
