Backend Engineer – Real-Time Video

Description: Join Stream as a Staff Backend Engineer to lead the technical direction of Stream Video's media infrastructure. Work in a hybrid role, 3 days a week in Amsterdam or remote from anywhere in the EU. Requirements: Extensive backend engineering experience with high-scale production systems. Expert proficiency in Go or equivalent systems language (Rust, C++, Java). Experience with real-time media or streaming technologies (WebRTC, SFU/MCU, RTP/RTCP). Strong knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and cost management. Clear written communication skills for design documentation.
