Sr. Backend Engineer II - Investment

Description: Own backend services for stock trading, including order flow, market data, and portfolio processes. Design, build, and run scalable, secure backend services and APIs. Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and investigate production incidents. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience. Proficient in Java, Go, or another modern backend language. Strong understanding of microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven design. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, caching (Redis), and messaging (Kafka). Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and CI/CD practices. Ownership mindset and experience in capital markets or regulated environments is a plus.
