Project Management

TEECOM hires by discipline, not by open requisition. We are growing — multiple teams across the US, UK, and India are actively hiring to grow their teams. When you apply here, you are applying to TEECOM for a role in Project Management. Rather than interviewing for a single posted role, you will go through a structured Discipline Assessment that establishes your level and demonstrated capability. Once your level is determined, TEECOM’s recruiting and leadership teams match your profile to the best available opening on a team that fits your skills, experience, and goals. Roles span Project Manager I through Project Manager III. Your level — and your title — are determined by your assessment, not by the role you apply to. If you have meaningful experience in more than one discipline, apply to your primary discipline and tell your recruiter about your secondary discipline(s) during your Introduction Call. You may be scheduled for a separate Discipline Assessment for each one. Project Management at TEECOM TEECOM’s Project Managers support the internal operations of engineering teams — working alongside a Team Lead to keep projects running on time, on budget, and on scope. This is an internal-facing coordination role, not a client-facing account management role. Work includes tracking project schedules and milestones, maintaining project documentation, coordinating across discipline engineers, supporting invoicing and fee tracking, flagging scope and schedule risks to the Team Lead, and helping the team stay organized across multiple concurrent engagements. Project Managers at TEECOM are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing complexity — they keep the operational details in order so engineers can focus on delivering quality work. At more senior levels, you will take on greater ownership of project operations, support multiple Team Leads simultaneously, contribute to process improvements, and help develop junior project managers on the team. What We’re Looking For We hire at all levels — the strongest project managers are proactive and coachable: they surface problems early, ask good questions, and take ownership of the operational and financial details without being asked — they don’t just track the plan, they keep it on course. If you don’t have everything on this list yet, that’s expected — TEECOM develops people through structured documentation, mentorship, and real project work. Experience in project coordination or project management, ideally in a professional services, AEC, or technology consulting environment Strong organizational and administrative skills — you keep the project management process visible, on track, and moving forward across multiple concurrent projects Financial and resource management experience — tracking budgets, profitability, billing, invoicing, and resource forecasting to catch issues early Clear written and verbal communication — you keep the team informed, document decisions, and flag risks before they become bigger problems Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms Comfort working closely with technical teams — you don’t need to be an engineer, but you understand how engineering projects are structured and delivered Process-oriented and proactive — you follow established processes, spot gaps before they become problems, and help teams improve consistency and accountability Degree in business, project management, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience PMP certification or equivalent — preferred *TEECOM covers exam fees and study materials for certifications relevant to your discipline, pays a one-time bonus when you pass, and funds all continuing education — including conference attendance. $80,000 - $170,000 a year Salary is determined by your assessed level. TEECOM publishes full salary bands for every level on the TEECOM careers page — review them before your assessment so you know where you might land and what growth looks like from there. TEECOM is a fully remote consulting firm. We hire across all US states, the UK, and India. Our projects span the globe — some roles involve international travel, so share your comfort level with your recruiter. If you’re ready to be assessed on your own merits and matched to the right team, apply here. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
