Staff Software Engineer, Networking (Seattle or SF Bay Area)
About this role
Description: Lead the technical direction for Docker's networking stack and make architectural decisions impacting the product portfolio. Enable Docker's expansion into AI and security products through innovative networking solutions. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in large-scale cloud or distributed systems with a focus on networking. Strong background in microservices architecture, container networking, and orchestration technologies. Proficient in Linux networking, OVS/OVN, DPDK, eBPF, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across remote teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
