Senior Backend Engineer, Real-time Data

Description: Join an early-stage fintech team building an AI-enabled platform for traders. Develop reliable, high-throughput backend systems that stream market data to users and connect with trading venues. Requirements: At least 8 years of backend engineering experience and strong software fundamentals. Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, with experience in real-time streaming backends and high-throughput event-driven systems. Experience with distributed systems. Python experience is useful; TypeScript and React experience is relevant for full-stack work. Experience with financial markets, trading, crypto, stocks, fintech, market data, or trading venues is a plus. Experience in a venture-backed fintech startup environment is also useful.
