Principal Security Engineer

Description: Principal-level security architecture and strategy role with enterprise-wide scope. Set security direction across ServiceNow’s products and platforms, defining controls and standards. Serve as a technical authority on complex and emerging threats, including AI-related risks. Drive the use of AI to enhance security processes such as detection and analysis. Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or exceptional impact record. 13+ years in security or software engineering, with at least 3 years in principal-level roles. Proven experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and security direction across teams. Recognized depth in a core security discipline (application, cloud, identity, etc.) and fluency in threat modeling methodologies.
