ML Engineer — ASR

Description: KIEFER is seeking an ML Engineer to enhance automatic speech recognition (ASR) for Sophea Meet. The role involves working with real meeting audio and managing the improvement loop from data and model experiments to production performance. Requirements: 3+ years of relevant ML or research engineering experience with measurable results. Strong hands-on ASR or speech ML experience, including shipping or improving a speech recognition system. Experience with training, fine-tuning, or adapting deep learning models using real-world audio data. Strong evaluation skills (WER/CER, benchmark design, error analysis, regression testing). Proficient in Python and experienced with PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks. Experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production ML systems.
