WES Solutions Architect

Description: Own the functional definition of software scope, translating sales into buildable software. Collaborate with Solutions Software team on presales, proposal generation, and software design specifications. Lead detailed design workshops and conduct onsite discovery to validate operational requirements. Maintain alignment between specifications and development throughout the project lifecycle. Author integration specifications for various subsystems and define IT/network requirements. Travel to customer sites as needed, with anticipated travel up to 50%. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or technical project delivery for WES/WCS, WMS. Technical bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience writing design specifications and integration documents. Understanding of material handling automation and warehouse execution systems. Hands-on experience with integrations, REST/APIs, and EDI. Proficient in Agile/Scrum environments and project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
