Senior Backend Software Engineer

Description: Flexcompute is transforming engineering simulation with ultra-fast simulation technology, including CFD software Flow360 and electromagnetic simulation software Tidy3D. Seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and implement scalable solutions for an advanced EM simulation platform. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or computer engineering. Professional experience in backend systems using Java, Python, and/or C++. Strong experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms. Expertise in backend service development and web API architecture. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production environments. Strong Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Understanding of networking fundamentals and backend security best practices. Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
