Software Engineer, Pub/Sub

Description: Join the Pub/Sub team to work on Ably's core backend for edge messaging platforms. Drive development of new functionalities and initiatives to scale and improve the Pub/Sub platform. Requirements: Strong interest or experience in distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure. Experience with messaging queues, pub/sub systems, or streaming systems at scale. Proficiency in a high-level server-side language (Node.js or Go preferred). Ability to self-start and work through ambiguity. Practical experience with AI tooling for planning and development. Collaborative mindset with a focus on transparency and sharing work publicly. Experience in dynamic, early-stage environments.
