Lead Developer (EdTech, AI)

Description: Lead the development of EdTech products at Ajaia, an AI implementation consultancy. Own the architecture, guide a team of developers, and write code. Collaborate with product and design teams to create usable tools for educators and students. Requirements: 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role. Proven experience in building EdTech products (e.g., LMS, assessment tools). Proficient in React or Next.js, and Node.js or Python. Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, Azure), databases, and APIs. Hands-on experience with AI features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic). Daily use of AI coding tools and sound judgment on their outputs. Knowledge of education standards (LTI, SCORM, xAPI) and student data privacy (FERPA, COPPA).
