Software Engineer, Money Platform

Description: OpenRouter is an AI routing and infrastructure layer for enterprises to manage large language models without constraints. The role involves building and owning the financial engine for OpenRouter, handling metering, pricing, invoicing, and payments. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in production financial systems (billing, payments, ledgers) at a fintech or usage-based SaaS company. Proficiency in money-correctness patterns and hands-on experience with Stripe or similar billing platforms. Strong skills in TypeScript and SQL, with familiarity in Postgres and analytical stores. Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to collaborate across teams. High agency and familiarity with AI automation tools.
