Software Engineer, Identity Platform

Description: OpenRouter is an AI routing and infrastructure layer for enterprises to manage and optimize large language models. The Software Engineer, Identity Platform will build and own identity solutions across OpenRouter's products, focusing on authentication, access control, and security. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in identity, authentication, or authorization systems at a SaaS or security company. Proficiency in identity standards (OAuth 2.x, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWTs) and designing authorization models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC). Experience with enterprise identity providers (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace) and auth platforms (Clerk, Auth0). Strong skills in TypeScript and SQL, with experience in Postgres and low-latency services. Security mindset with the ability to design for least privilege and communicate with enterprise security reviewers. Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
