Senior ML Engineer

Description: Truemed enables health and wellness merchants to accept $150+ billion in HSA/FSA funds by determining product eligibility for pretax spending. As a Senior ML Engineer, you will run experiments to improve classification accuracy and ship successful models to production. Requirements: 5+ years of engineering or applied research experience, with at least 2 years working with LLMs or other ML models. Proven track record of rigorous experiments with clear hypotheses and sound conclusions. Experience with evaluation methodology for AI systems and hands-on work with prompting, fine-tuning, and retrieval on foundation models. Fluency in Python and ability to take experiments to production. Senior-level ownership of ML problems from experimentation to production. Public evidence of experimental work (e.g., papers, open-source contributions). Bonus: experience in healthcare or regulatory classification.
