Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Platform

Description: Join an early-stage AI manufacturing supply chain startup as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer on the platform team. Build backend services, data pipelines, and AI-powered systems to support procurement and supply chain operations. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of production experience in backend services, data pipelines, or platform infrastructure. Hands-on experience with AI development, including NLP/ML pipelines and OCR techniques. Recent experience with Next.js, TypeScript, agentic frameworks, and PostgreSQL or similar databases. Experience designing transactional systems with ACID guarantees and reliable event-driven processing. Familiarity with ERP systems and third-party APIs, including legacy interfaces. Background in manufacturing supply chain, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a startup environment. Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with production monitoring and incident response. Benefits: Base salary range of $160,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship available. Remote role with San Francisco, California as the primary location.
