Security Specialist* (Kubernetes, Cloud)

Location: United Kingdom What you can achieve with us As part of an agile project team, you develop concepts to design applications securely from design through to operation. Automation of processes plays an equally important role as mapping of classical policies to modern automated infrastructures. You also like to be hands-on as a Cloud Platform Engineer in the project. You use your experience with various architecture and operational concepts for the design and implementation of modern infrastructure solutions. Already during the conception and development of applications, you plan for the later highly available and scalable operation. In the team, you pursue the common goal of developing the best possible solutions for the customer's needs. In doing so, you think beyond technical boundaries and project phases and jointly assume responsibility. In our projects, we frequently use the following technologies: Kubernetes, security-relevant add-ons such as Service-Mesh, OPA, RBAC concepts Cloud Security System Hardening Security Frameworks AWS, GCP, Azure Internally as well as externally, you can contribute to us in many different ways: You can change your initially chosen technological focus at any time. As an experienced engineer, you also have the opportunity to support younger colleagues through mentoring. Requirements Who would be a good fit for us Whether you have completed a degree or training in IT is secondary to us – what counts for us are your technical skills and your personality: Ideally, you already have practical experience and knowledge in several of the technologies mentioned above. You bring experience as a Cloud Platform / Kubernetes Engineer. You also have the aspiration to familiarize yourself with new technologies and to evaluate them in terms of project application. You are happy to share your knowledge with your colleagues. You can prioritize well and have a feel for the right balance between pragmatism and perfectionism. Furthermore, you can convey complex technical relationships to non-technical contacts. It is important to you to gain a deep understanding of the perspectives of your project colleagues and customers. You have good communication skills and very good knowledge of German (minimum C1 level) and English.
