Cloud Architect* (AWS, Azure, GCP, private Cloud)

Location: United Kingdom What you can achieve with us Together with your agile team, you implement projects for clients from a wide variety of industries. You are set up cross-functionally and deliver everything from a single source – from architecture through development to DevOps operations. You build it, you run it. You coordinate closely with our clients, bring your experience to the evaluation and design of architectures, and translate business requirements into technical solutions in the cloud. From the conception and development of applications, you plan for the later highly available and scalable operation of the software. As a Cloud Architect, you not only contribute conceptually to project work, but also work hands-on with code. In doing so, you establish modern development methods and foster an agile, open culture for quality-driven software development. In the team, you pursue the common goal of developing the best possible solutions for the client's needs. You think beyond subject matter boundaries and project phases and share responsibility together. Both internally and externally, you can contribute to our work in many ways: you can change your initially chosen focus area at any time. As a Senior, you also have the opportunity to support younger colleagues as a mentor or coach. Requirements Who would be a good fit for us Whether you have completed a degree or vocational training in IT is irrelevant to us – what counts for us are your technical skills and your personality: You bring several years of experience in the field of cloud platforms and have already worked with cloud solutions or Kubernetes in your own data center. You master at least one programming language hands-on, have the ambition to familiarize yourself with new technologies and to evaluate them for project use. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. You are familiar with architectural aspects such as security, operations, scaling, and implementation of various architectural patterns (microservices, serverless) not only in theory. You have already worked with them practically and looked behind the scenes. Last but not least, you bring knowledge of container technologies and the implementation of Infrastructure as Code as well as CI/CD. You critically question existing solutions and processes. You bring optimization approaches to the team in a constructive and structured manner. Very good German language skills are a prerequisite (minimum level C1), good English language skills round out your profile.
