Founding Applied AI Engineer

Description: First senior AI hire at an AI-powered marketing technology startup. Responsible for the quality and intelligence of multi-channel marketing agents. Collaborate with the founder to shape agent architecture, evaluation systems, and learning loops. Requirements: 3+ years of experience building production machine learning or AI systems, with recent hands-on experience in LLM products or agents. Experience in designing evaluations and learning from outcome signals at scale (search, ranking, recommendation systems). Strong TypeScript skills (including Next.js) and Python proficiency for data analysis and model work. Ability to ship end-to-end solutions and establish measurable output quality standards. Ownership experience in a startup or small-team environment. Valuable experience in search or ranking, particularly with search engines or AI answer engines. Experience at a leading AI research organization or strong research program; familiarity with marketing, growth, or content products is beneficial.
