Founding Data Engineer (Pricing/Comps)

Description: Build and own the data foundation for pricing in an online resale marketplace. Transform inconsistent sold-listing data into reliable comparable sales and price estimates. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of data engineering experience, including production ETL pipelines. Experience with noisy or adversarial data, such as marketplace or fraud-related data. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, Dagster, and Spark. Exposure to statistical estimation or pricing models, including regression-based logic. Ability to communicate data quality tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in pricing intelligence, entity resolution, or early-stage startups is a plus. Benefits: Salary range of $160,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Remote work opportunity within North America.
