Backend Engineer

Description: Full-time, permanent Backend Engineer position at Substrakt, focused on creating digital experiences for arts and cultural organizations. Primarily remote role with flexible working; office available in Birmingham for local employees. Requirements: Solid experience in building and maintaining Python web applications, preferably with Django and/or Wagtail. Familiarity with APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), automated testing, Git, and secure development practices.
