Backend Engineer - Java (6-month contract)

Description: Seeking experienced Java Backend Engineers for a 6-month contract to work on backend systems for the Subscriptions and Payments ecosystem. Responsibilities include building services for subscriptions, payments, entitlements, and transaction processing, ensuring high availability and performance during traffic spikes. Requirements: 4-7 years of backend engineering experience with strong hands-on Java and microservices development. Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices design. Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing. Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases is desirable. Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis), event-streaming platforms (Kafka), AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong production-debugging and performance-optimization skills.
