Description: Vultr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to connect engineering alerting to the Global Integrated Operations Command Center (GIOC) in Chennai, India. The role involves building a consolidated dashboard to replace multiple monitoring consoles and alert feeds. Requirements: 5–8 years in Tools/Platform Engineering or similar infrastructure role, with 3–5 years in monitoring/alerting tooling (Icinga, Grafana, SIEM platforms). Experience in mapping and consolidating multi-team monitoring and alerting systems, with 3+ years in API/webhook integrations and scripting (Python or similar). 2–3 years in building or modifying operational dashboards (Grafana, Kibana, etc.) and understanding of ticketing/ITSM workflow tools.
