Senior AI Software Engineer

Description: Define and evolve the technical architecture for Caseware’s AI platform, establishing standards for scalable and secure AI capabilities. Design, build, and operate AI systems, including multi-agent systems and human-in-the-loop capabilities. Implement frameworks for evaluation, governance, and auditability of AI systems. Translate AI advancements into practical platform capabilities that address customer needs. Influence technical direction through architecture reviews and collaboration. Lead proof-of-concepts to inform platform strategy and investments. Ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and operationally efficient. Collaborate with Product, QA, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver business value. Mentor engineers and contribute to overall engineering maturity. Requirements: 8+ years of software engineering experience with impact beyond a single team. 2+ years of experience in building and operating production AI systems. Proven experience in designing distributed, SaaS, cloud-native platforms at scale. Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs (latency, cost, accuracy, reliability). Extensive experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform). Strong English communication skills and ability to operate in fast-moving environments.
