Staff Backend Engineer, Data Ingestion

Description: Own the backend platform and observability systems for Scribe's Workflow Mapping capture and ingestion systems. Build systems to ensure reliable data capture and flow into processing and AI pipelines. Requirements: Deep experience in building backend applications and managing complex production systems. Strong Python skills; familiarity with TypeScript and Go is a plus. Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data ingestion pipelines. Knowledge of monitoring and observability systems for production health. Proficient with message queues and task orchestration tools (e.g., Celery, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka). Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining production services in AWS. Ability to create technical roadmaps and lead cross-team engineering efforts.
