Backend Engineer - Crypto and Payments

Description: Join GoTyme to build a stablecoin and digital-assets wallet for customers in South Africa, the Philippines, and beyond. Develop a financial core with a managed CASP ledger, focusing on ledger, posting, reconciliation, and financial-control capabilities. Requirements: 5+ years of backend engineering experience in payments, ledger, accounting, or core banking systems. Strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and understanding of financial concepts like debits, credits, and reconciliation. Experience with idempotency, event-driven systems, and building reconciliations. Proficient in Java or Python and capable of clear technical communication with cross-functional teams.
