US LBM Lead Software Engineer (Digital Workplace)

A Brief Overview The US LBM Lead Software Engineer (Digital Workplace) will provide technical leadership while working hands-on alongside software engineers developing highly available applications, integrations, and automations across US LBM's digital workplace, collaboration, identity, endpoint management, intranet, and workflow automation, built on Microsoft 365, Workday, and a modern identity and endpoint stack. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, product partnership, and business engagement. The Engineering Lead will partner with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders to align technology delivery with business objectives and guide teams through design, development, deployment, and support. Above all, this is a builder's role at the leading edge of US LBM's move to an AI-First software development lifecycle. Partnering closely with the Product Manager, the Lead Engineer will own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping, quickly turning ideas into working proof-of-concepts that demonstrate business value across the organization, and will lead their team in adopting AI across how we discover, design, build, test, and ship software.
