Principal Software Engineer – Platform Engineering

Description: Lead architectural direction for a large-scale, Kubernetes-native platform transitioning to a cell-based architecture. Own the environments configuration management framework and design scalable services across multiple regions and deployment models. Requirements: Extensive hands-on architecture experience in large microservice environments (hundreds of services). Proficient in Java and Python, with a strong cloud-native background (Kubernetes, AWS). Proven ability to design for horizontal scalability and decompose large service estates into independent sub-systems. Experience with externalizing configuration and influencing code changes in teams. Benefits: Base compensation range: $246,000 - $339,000 USD.
