Senior Software Engineer - Mission Systems Integration

Description: Seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Mission Systems Integration to develop and modernize tactical systems for defense and national security. Role involves bridging tactical-edge operations with enterprise-scale data platforms, enhancing real-time situational awareness. Requirements: Active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of software engineering and systems integration experience. 3+ years of experience with the TAK protocol ecosystem and Cursor on Target (CoT) messaging. Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Java/Kotlin, C#/.NET, C++, or Python. Experience with network protocols and real-time messaging systems. Familiarity with version control systems and containerization technologies. Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer sites and field exercises.
