Senior Server (Scala) Engineer

Description: Develop and maintain the QAD Redzone API Backend (Scala) for manufacturing front-line teams. Enhance internal tooling capabilities by developing and maintaining the MCP server for AI integrations. Improve OpenSearch usage within the backend application and ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments. Provide subject matter expertise during incidents and contribute to system improvement discussions. Write testable and maintainable code to support business goals. Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer. Proficiency in Scala (5+ years) and Java. Experience with API-first design, Open Api Spec, and generating Tapir endpoints. Knowledge of async programming, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and database migration patterns. Familiarity with CI/CD, AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker. Benefits: Competitive base pay range: €110,000-115,000 GBP Annual. Eligibility for an annual company performance bonus.
