Data Engineer

Description: Alt is focused on unlocking the value of alternative assets, particularly in the trading-card market. The Data Engineer will own the data pipelines that scrape, normalize, and land transaction and listing data, impacting pricing decisions and market analytics. Requirements: 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Strong Python skills with 3+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale data processing (Pandas, Polars, PySpark). Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster. Proven ownership of a data pipeline end-to-end in the last two years. Solid SQL skills for data analysis and transformation. Experience in a startup environment with a pragmatic approach to incremental value delivery. Bonus: Experience in web scraping at scale, AWS, and LLM-based extraction.
