We are a 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries, backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. We are scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do. You may not meet every requirement, and that is okay. If this role excites you, we would love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity. Senior Product Designer, Knowledge Graph This is a remote position based in the United Kingdom. The opportunity As a Senior Product Designer at Grafana Labs, you will join a growing Product Design organization of more than 25 designers, researchers, engineers, and design leaders distributed across six continents. You will work within a 100% remote R and D organization, so strong, proactive remote communication, collaboration, facilitation, and relationship building skills will be essential to your success. As Senior Product Designer for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph, you will design experiences for the context layer of Grafana Cloud that powers our entity graph, entity catalog and RCA workbench. Knowledge Graph automatically discovers services, infrastructure, and databases from the telemetry teams already have, maps how they depend on each other, and runs anomaly detection. This gives engineers, SREs, and their agents an up to date picture of their systems. We want anyone to be able to understand a system and resolve an incident faster, without writing queries or maintaining alert rules, not just the one person who happens to know it best. Over time, you will develop deep expertise in your product area and associated customer and user personas, use cases, and workflows, which will enable you to design tailored, role-driven experiences. You will also have an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the Product Design team at Grafana by coaching and mentoring other designers, collaborating on team internal initiatives, and helping evolve new ways of working, learning, and having fun together as the team scales. Bonus points for Experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces with a focus on clarity. Ability to rapidly gain an understanding of a technical domain and associated customer needs and user workflows in order to design effective experiences within that domain. Domain knowledge or experience related to observability, cloud infrastructure, and/or database monitoring. Experience helping design teams, especially at engineering led companies, level up their practice, collaboration with partner functions, and user and organizational impact.
