Field Sales Representative Location: Kingston Upon Thames, covering Kingston or surrounding areas such as Esher, Weybridge, Walton, Richmond or Twickenham (fully field-based) £50,000–£90,000 OTE (£30,000–£54,000 base salary + uncapped commission, based on experience) + £800 monthly car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package Hello. We’re Teya. Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better. They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services have made life harder for them, with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business. Teya exists to change that. We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe, bringing together payments, business accounts and other business tools with simple technology and real human support. From card payments and business accounts to financing solutions, we help our Members spend less time worrying about their finances and more time doing what they love. We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand. If you’re ambitious, enjoy meeting new people and want to make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from you. Your Mission We’re looking for ambitious, driven people to join our growing Field Sales team and help bring Teya to more local businesses across the UK. As a Field Sales Representative, you’ll take ownership of your own territory, getting out into your local community, meeting business owners face-to-face and showing them how Teya can help their businesses thrive. This is a role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and winning new business. You’ll have the freedom to manage your territory, the support of a team that wants you to succeed, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career in sales. Your responsibilities will include: Own your territory: Proactively identify and engage local businesses through face-to-face prospecting, networking, referrals and other opportunities to generate new business. Build meaningful relationships: Get to know business owners, understand their challenges and identify how Teya’s products and services can make their lives easier. Win new Members: Use a consultative, value-led approach to demonstrate Teya’s solutions, build trust and turn conversations into long-term customer relationships. Deliver results: Take ownership of your sales performance, maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently work towards your commercial targets. See things through: Take responsibility for your Members’ experience from the first conversation through to onboarding, ensuring they’re set up successfully and ready to start using Teya. Keep learning: Develop strong knowledge of our products, competitors and sales methodology through structured training, coaching and feedback. Represent Teya: Be a trusted face of Teya in your local community, delivering the genuine care and hospitality that we want every Member to experience. Help us improve: Share insights from the field to help us continuously improve our products, sales approach and Member experience. Your Story We believe great salespeople come from all kinds of backgrounds. You might already be an experienced field sales professional with a strong track record of winning new business. Or you might be earlier in your career, with the ambition, drive and potential to become an exceptional salesperson. What matters most to us is your mindset, your ability to connect with people and your willingness to learn and improve. We’re looking for people who bring: Ambition and drive: You’re motivated to succeed, enjoy working towards challenging goals and take pride in delivering great results. A competitive mindset: You enjoy winning, hold yourself to high standards and are always looking for ways to improve. Resilience and determination: You’re comfortable with rejection, stay positive when things get tough and don’t give up easily. Strong people skills: You enjoy meeting new people, build rapport naturally and can have meaningful conversations with business owners from all walks of life. Curiosity and commercial awareness: You ask good questions, listen carefully and want to understand what makes a business successful. Coachability: You’re open to feedback, willing to challenge yourself and committed to developing your skills. Ownership and self-discipline: You’re organised, proactive and comfortable managing your own time and priorities in a field-based role. A genuine care for others: You understand that great sales isn’t just about closing a deal. It’s about doing what’s right for the customer and building trust that lasts. Experience in field sales, business development, payments or financial services is an advantage, but not essential for every level. We care just as much about your potential as your experience. You’ll also need: Fluency in English. A full UK driving licence and access to a car. The right to work in the UK. Willingness to work in a fully field-based role, travelling regularly throughout your territory. The Perks We believe great performance should be recognised and rewarded. Alongside the opportunity to build your career in a growing European fintech, you’ll receive: £30,000–£54,000 base salary, depending on your experience and demonstrated capability. Uncapped commission. £800 per month car allowance (£9,600 annually), on top of your salary and commission. 25 days of paid annual leave, plus UK bank holidays. Bupa private healthcare and life insurance. Employer pension contributions through our company pension scheme. Free gym membership through Wellhub, alongside one-to-one therapy sessions, meditation and digital fitness and nutrition apps. Structured onboarding, practical sales training, ongoing coaching and opportunities to grow your career at Teya. What Happens Next?
