Staff Backend Graph Engineer

Description: Build and maintain the identity graph that helps businesses verify identities in real-time. Set technical direction and own complex problems across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Security. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in distributed systems, with at least 2 years at Staff or Senior Staff level. Proven experience with Spark, Kafka, or Flink in production environments. Experience in low-latency API development and tuning. Familiarity with graph technologies and entity resolution. Proficient in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability practices. Experience with ML data pipelines and orchestration tools. Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
