Prediction Model Expert

About the Role As a Prediction Model Expert, you bring deep expertise in AI forecasting, software development in Python, backed by a dissertation on prediction models or time series forecasting. You have hands-on experience with foundation models for forecasting, multi-modal prediction frameworks (can be across disciplines like medicine), cloud environments. You excel at building production-grade prediction engines that detect anomalies, forecast threats, and power proactive threat detection logic at compute scale. You will be one of Haste's first senior AI researchers pioneering prediction models that anticipate stealthy threats across HPC clusters, AI and quantum workloads before they strike. Key Responsibilities Predictive Model Development & Engineering: Designing, building, and deploying Machine Learning (ML) and Foundation models to forecast potential security breaches. Anomaly Detection & Behavior Analysis: Establishing "normal" baselines and flagging deviations that indicate malicious behaviour together with our security experts and research teams. Threat Intelligence & Forecasting: Analyzing historical data, threat intelligence feeds, to extract and predict future attack trends, emerging vulnerabilities, and malicious campaigns. Vulnerability & Risk Assessment: Scoring and prioritizing security vulnerabilities (e.g., predicting which CVSS vulnerabilities are most likely to be exploited) to guide risk-based view. Data Pipeline Construction: Managing the full lifecycle of data, including gathering, cleaning, and processing vast amounts of diverse data sources like network logs, indicators of compromise, and threat intel. Model Optimization & Maintenance: Continuously refining algorithms, hyperparameter tuning, and adapting models to combat "model drift" as attacker tactics evolve. Collaboration & Communication: Translating complex mathematical models into actionable insights, and producing research reports, white papers, or conference presentations. Why Join Haste? If you’ve ever wanted to build the world’s fastest threat detection and hunting platform for the future of compute, this is the place for you. If you want to build technology that pushes the boundaries of cybersecurity for HPC, AI, and quantum environments, this is where you’ll do the most meaningful work of your career. From detecting AI model poisoning mid-training to hunting quantum side-channel leaks and nation-state IP theft in HPC clusters. Haste mirrors the complexity of high-stakes compute infrastructure—HPC supercomputers, trillion-parameter AI workloads, quantum computers, and enterprise infrastructure—letting security teams detect, hunt, and analyze only relevant threats lightning fast. We are a EU funded, fast-growing cybersecurity startup securing compute for governments, research labs, and Fortune 500 enterprises. Our mission is to secure every compute-intensive workload from AI training to quantum simulations—revolutionizing cyber defense. What It's Like Working With Us Impact from day one: Your work shapes how we protect current and future infrastructure. Top Tier-experts: Join security veterans solving globally unique problems in threat detection for the future of compute. Fully remote, real ownership: We care about results, not clock-in times. Location: Remote (within Europe)
