We are currently looking for a Manager, Health Education for our Immunology product portfolio (dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology). The incumbent will be an active member of the Health Education and Training Centre AbbVie. In this role, they will be responsible for identifying the health education needs of healthcare professionals and developing multiple tailored health education initiatives to address them. The incumbent will work remotely and report to the Senior Manager, Health Education Team. Key Responsibilities Conduct needs assessments of healthcare professionals nationally and help determine educational gaps and needs for our immunology product portfolio in partnership with cross-functional colleagues. Lead the planning and development of a health education strategic plan in line with the needs assessment, learning gaps and overall brand strategic imperatives, to successfully design, develop and implement health education solutions. Lead the design of forward-thinking health education strategies and tactics, measurable through defined key performance indicators (KPIs), aimed at influencing the knowledge, attitudes and skills of healthcare professionals, as well as their overall behaviours, in order to raise the standard of care and improve patient outcomes. Oversee the content, timeline and budget of the health education plan, ensuring cost-effectiveness, resource optimization and successful execution. Develop and implement effective digital engagement strategies, using various tools and channels to enhance digital interactions with healthcare professionals. Conduct and foster accountability for the review of training standards for health education materials, ensuring they meet established and quality criteria. Ensure that all health education offerings fromAbbVie comply with the most rigorous ethical standards, including, but not limited to, those of Innovative Medicines Canada, national accreditation standards, Canadian Medical Association requirements and internal policies. Identify and cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders, including, but not limited to, brand team members and the field team, to ensure optimal health education quality and an integrated approach for successful execution. Identify and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, professional associations and suppliers, to create high-quality health education content that meets the health education standards ofAbbVie. Evaluate the effectiveness of health education offerings through data collection and analysis, leveraging insights to develop and adapt evidence-based educational solutions. Required Education or Experience Bachelor's degree in science or healthcare Relevant education and/or experience in health education and adult learning principles, an important asset Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare landscape and the various environments, organizations and national accreditation systems in the field of health education, an important asset Therapeutic experience in dermatology, gastroenterology and rheumatology, an important asset Certification in continuing health education or equivalent obtained Essential Skills and Abilities This role requires exceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
