Build and maintain event driven architectures with Apache Kafka for reliable, efficient service communication. Deliver high throughput and low latency across large, distributed platforms. Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, deployment, and monitoring. Design AI powered automation frameworks for faster development cycles and automated regression testing. Decide where AI adds value in the codebase and where human design must lead. Set review standards for AI assisted code. Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues with observability tools and logs. Follow and enforce secure coding practices. Take part in security audits and reviews. Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architecture decisions. Track industry trends and improve system performance, resilience, and developer productivity. Proven record building and integrating large scale, high performance, distributed systems with fault tolerance, scalability, and low latency. AI first mindset, with daily hands on use of AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Clear judgment on when and where AI improves engineering outcomes, and a record of keeping AI generated code from lowering quality, performance, or design. Proficiency building and consuming RESTful APIs with JSON and XML. Strong experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization. Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins. Solid knowledge of application and data security, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
