Senior Synon & Cobol/400 Developer

Description: Design, develop, modify, and enhance applications using SYNON/COOL 2E, COBOL400, CL/400, CLLE, and DB2/400. Develop and support RxCLAIM/pharmacy claims adjudication functionality and related business processes. Analyze and enhance complex claim processing logic, including business rules and system workflows. Maintain, modernize, and improve existing AS/400 applications while developing new solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, QA teams, and healthcare/PBM stakeholders. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SYNON/COOL 2E, COBOL400, CL/400, CLLE, and DB2/400. Strong hands-on experience with RxCLAIM and pharmacy claims adjudication systems. Strong knowledge of Healthcare/PBM processes and applications. Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
