Forward Deployed Engineer, Internal Data Products

Description: AECOM is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Internal Data Products to enhance construction team efficiency through application development. The role involves collaborating with construction professionals to understand workflows, build prototypes, and deliver solutions, including replacing spreadsheet processes and improving project visibility. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant software engineering experience or equivalent. Proven experience in building and deploying applications, working with nontechnical stakeholders, and proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and experience in SQL, relational databases, and APIs.
