Platform Engineer

Description: GovSignals is a startup focused on improving government acquisition processes using AI. The Platform Engineer will manage infrastructure and security across commercial cloud, FedRAMP High, and IL5 environments. Requirements: 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or security engineering roles. Deep Kubernetes experience in production, including cluster operations and GitOps. Experience building infrastructure for other engineers. Secure by default mindset with knowledge of hardened images and least-privilege access. Nice to have: experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP, HIPAA), Postgres operations, backend TypeScript, open-source infrastructure work. Benefits: Base Salary: $160,000 – $230,000.
