QA Lead

Description: Baselane is a banking and financial management platform for individual landlords and real estate investors. The QA Lead will work in an AI-first engineering environment, focusing on both hands-on automation and team leadership. Requirements: 7+ years in software quality, with 2+ years leading QA teams while remaining hands-on. Strong experience with Playwright (or similar) for test automation using TypeScript/JavaScript. Experience testing web applications and APIs, including test data management. Proven ability to coach manual testers into automation and integrate tests into CI/CD workflows. Hands-on experience with AI coding agents for test maintenance. Strong communication skills to influence quality practices. Experience testing AI/LLM-powered features is a plus. Nice to have: Experience in FinTech, performance/load/security testing, and visual regression testing. Benefits: Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000.
