Staff Engineer, Application Security (Remote, US)

Description: Lead and define company-wide security strategy across applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI systems. Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, code reviews, and security testing. Implement security guardrails for AI applications and integrations. Enhance security across AWS/GCP, containers, CI/CD, and software supply chain. Manage vulnerability discovery, prioritization, remediation, and incident response. Collaborate with various teams on security architecture, policies, and compliance. Foster a security culture through tooling, training, and mentorship. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in application, product, cloud, or infrastructure security. Strong software engineering skills with the ability to read, write, and review production code. Deep understanding of application and API security, cloud security, and software development. Experience designing scalable security architecture and secure-by-default controls. Knowledge of AI security risks and AWS security services. Strong understanding of networking and core Internet protocols.
