It’s an opportunity to shape the future of investment education and research. Are you ready to be part of our vision to redefine what’s possible for investors everywhere? The Role The Marketing Compliance Associate is a hands-on review and advisory role. You will be the pre-launch control point for every externally facing marketing and sales asset DM produces: paid ads, VSLs, webinars, advertorials, landing pages, email/SMS campaigns, affiliate and influencer assets, and content published on DM’s socials, including content pushed through the slide-sell and other sales floors. You will give fast, plain-English feedback, keep substantiation files audit-ready, and keep the sales floor honest without slowing growth. What Will You Be Doing? Advertising and Creative Review Review all marketing collateral before launch, including Meta and Google ads, VSLs, webinar scripts and slide decks, landing pages, advertorials, social media content, sales pages, email sequences and SMS campaigns against FTC and SEC marketing rules, FTC’s Endorsement Guides, Securities Act and Exchange Act prohibitions on misleading statements, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and platform ad policies (Meta, Google, YouTube). Flag and require correction of any unsubstantiated earnings or performance claims, atypical testimonials, or misleading omissions. Earnings and Claims Standards Apply DM’s internal standards so that any earnings, return or performance representation is typical, substantiated and accompanied by clear and conspicuous disclaimers consistent with the FTC Marketing Guides for investment and business-opportunity style promotions. Maintain the central Substantiation File for every claim used in market. Sales Floor Compliance Audit live and recorded sales calls, setter and closer scripts, DM rooms and slide-sell presentations for compliance with approved claim language and mandatory risk disclosures. Coach the sales team on approved phrasing and escalate repeat breaches. Channel and Data-Privacy Compliance Oversee email, SMS and retargeting campaigns for CAN-SPAM and TCPA compliance (consent records, opt-outs, identification), and confirm that affiliate, JV and influencer promotions carry required disclosures (#ad, material connection) and are monitored. Verify that lead-generation pages and funnels include accurate privacy and terms links and do not use deceptive design or false scarcity or urgency. Regulatory Awareness Track and summarise changes to FTC and SEC marketing guidance, state UDAP developments, and ad-platform policy updates that affect DM’s funnels, and translate them into updates to checklists, SOPs and training materials. What Success Looks Like Early On You have completed parallel running with the Customer Services Director and both co-founders, reviewing a representative sample of live assets and recommending corrections that were adopted. The pre-launch review checklist and substantiation log are embedded as the standard workflow for Marketing, Sales and Affiliates. The library of approved claim language and disclaimers is in active use by copywriters, media buyers and the sales floor. Zero assets have launched without compliance sign-off, and every flagged earnings claim is either substantiated, corrected or removed before publication. Requirements What Will You Bring? Hands-on experience reviewing marketing and sales content for FTC and SEC compliance within an information, education, financial-services or similarly regulated consumer business (in-house, agency or freelance); a strong working knowledge of the FTC Endorsement Guides, the prohibition on unsubstantiated earnings claims, and the SEC marketing rule principles as applied to retail-facing promotions; experience auditing sales calls or webinars and giving direct, usable feedback to commercial teams; and familiarity with affiliate and influencer marketing and the disclosure and monitoring obligations that come with it. Qualifications 3+ years reviewing marketing or sales content in a compliance, legal-operations, marketing-operations or regulated consumer-marketing setting. 5+ years professional experience overall. Working knowledge of Meta and Google ad policy as it applies to financial and “special category” promotions. Comfort working in a fully remote, fast-paced, metrics-driven business with heavy async communication and documentation. Desirable: experience in a DeFi, crypto or alternative-investments environment, or with slide-sell and call-centre sales motions, and a paralegal, JD, CAMS, CCEP or equivalent background (not required). High integrity, low ego, and the judgment to know which fights matter. Reporting Line and Cross-Functional Partners You will report to the Customer Services Director. Your first weeks of asset review will parallel-run with the Customer Services Director and both DM co-founders (who currently perform this review) until your sign-off authority is confirmed. Day-to-day partners: Head of Marketing/Growth, Copy and Creative, Media Buying, Head of Sales, Affiliate Manager, Customer Success and Operations. Benefits What Do We Offer You? Competitive salary package Full time / 40 hours a week Unlimited PTO Flexible work schedule Team off-sites Young & dynamic culture with team members across 30+ countries Fully Remote with a very supportive team. You have the ability to work from anywhere in the world! If you are ready to take on a challenge that will shape the future of crypto finance and grow with a team of innovators, we want to hear from you!
