Senior Backend Engineer (Booking Integrations, Contract)

Description: Aescape is a New York-based AI and robotics company focused on redefining human recovery through intelligent bodywork. The Senior Backend Engineer will develop services connecting Aescape to third-party booking platforms, ensuring easy maintenance and integration. This is a full-time contract position for 4 to 6 months, with potential for extension or full-time conversion. Requirements: 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly with Golang in production. Proven experience in building and shipping third-party API integrations, especially in booking, scheduling, payments, or CRM systems. Ability to work independently and manage services from skeleton to production with clear documentation. Familiarity with AWS and backend infrastructure setup. Must be available for up to 40 hours per week during core business hours (11am to 5pm ET). Must be based in the US and eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
