Core Software Engineer (C++) - Remote

Description: Join ClickHouse's Core Performance team to analyze and optimize the performance of the ClickHouse database. Work on query optimization, distributed query optimization, relational operators, caching, and low-level optimizations. Extend existing and add new performance tests to ensure database performance. Collaborate with core teams and support engineering to assess the impact of new features on performance. Engage with the open-source community by resolving issues and reviewing PRs. Requirements: Solid professional software development experience in C++ and Unix Systems. Strong knowledge of database internals and design. Experience in performance engineering, preferably in databases or related fields. Excellent communication skills and ability to work across engineering teams. Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills. Passionate about efficiency, scalability, and data governance. High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
