Principal Engineer — DevX & AI

Description: Principal Engineer responsible for the architectural ownership of the agent-readable Shop Builder platform. Influence organizational decisions on developer and AI agent interactions with foundational capabilities. Requirements: 10+ years of engineering experience, with a track record as a Staff or Principal engineer shaping platforms and APIs. Deep expertise in designing public APIs and SDKs, including versioning and developer ergonomics. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React. Experience building CLI tooling and local developer workflows. Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar interfaces for AI agents. Experience with global scale systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP). Ability to write LLM-friendly documentation and exceptional technical communication skills.
