Staff Data Engineer

Description: Own the technical design of the data platform for Palmetto's products, partners, and AI agents. Build and maintain data products that deliver trustworthy data across the customer journey. Collaborate with finance, operations, product, and engineering teams to understand evolving data requirements. Requirements: 8+ years in data engineering, with experience at a Staff or lead level. Proficient in SQL and Python, with strong database fundamentals in analytical warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery). Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks, and ETL orchestration tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airflow). Knowledge of infrastructure as code and container orchestration on major clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with API design, authentication, authorization, and PII handling.
