Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack (Backend Focus)

Description: Oath is a strategic giving platform aimed at maximizing donor contributions and protecting donor data. Seeking experienced full-stack software engineers with a focus on backend development to lead fundraising tools and admin capabilities. Requirements: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in full-stack web applications with backend depth. Strong proficiency in Python, with production experience in building APIs (FastAPI preferred). Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling and scaling in production. Familiarity with background jobs and async processing (e.g., Celery, Redis). Experience with payment APIs (ideally Stripe) and third-party integrations. Hands-on experience with authentication and role-based access control (Auth0 is a plus). Proficiency in TypeScript and React for full-stack feature development. Experience with observability tools and monitoring production systems. Proven track record of owning features end to end and effective communication skills. Benefits: Base salary range of $120-150K.
