Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDTE)

Description: Design, build, and own regression automation framework for iOS, Android, and Web platforms. Set technical direction for test automation and partner with engineering leads to enhance quality. Architect a unified test automation framework minimizing duplication across platforms. Implement UI, API, and integration test suites using various automation tools. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for reliable feedback. Establish test data management and reporting strategies. Define quality metrics and report to engineering leadership. Mentor engineers on testability best practices and influence testing practices. Requirements: 6+ years of experience as SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with testing focus. Proven experience building test automation frameworks for mobile and web applications. Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Maestro, XCUITest, Espresso). Hands-on experience with web automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium). Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Python. Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and diagnosing flakiness. Strong grasp of test design techniques and API testing experience. Comfortable with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows. Excellent communication skills for reporting quality risks.
